I got into Triathlon 2 years ago to rengage my fitness which had clearly started to suffer. Now I am training for my second Ironman and have completed 7 x 70.3 Ironman events. My wife and kids are now involved..
What is this addiction all about???? and where does it stop?
I guess the addiction is like anything you love doing , it ends when you don’t enjoy it anymore . For me it’s about the challenge of achieving something you never thought you could do as well as keeping fit & healthy. My wife is still wondering what the addiction is but I suspect when she crosses the finish line in Melbourne in 7 weeks she’ll have an idea !

I got into triathlon because I was fed up with trying to beat my running race times. I could not swim and had never ridden a racing bike so I thought it would be a laugh. It was but I was also hooked after the first race. That was 30 years ago!
